PHILOSOPHY AND PURPOSE
The Philosophy of Capitol City Trade and Technical School is to provide a unique personalized learning environment that encourages successful performance and program completion by each student.
The school strives at all times to:
1) Provide the hands-on training necessary to prepare students for entry level positions.
2) Encourage a sense of commitment, responsibility, and self-motivation so that each student entering the work place will have the "personal strengths" to accompany their technical and problem solving skills.
3) Maintain an atmosphere of professionalism, thereby setting a standard and creating an environment for students to emulate.
4) Ensure that each student enjoys time and space within the classroom setting, so that each student
will have an opportunity to perform and participate under the direct supervision of a qualified instructor.

FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
Capitol City Trade & Technical School occupies 33,000 square feet of classroom, laboratory and office space. Each program has ample classroom space with additional emphasis placed on the "working areas and/or lab" for each area of concentration. Each laboratory is designed to simulate actual working conditions. Students work with standard industry equipment, which enables the graduate to be familiar with basic equipment found in Industry today. In addition, automotive technician students are exposed to the Allen Computer; air conditioning and heating students participate in field trips to repair central air conditioning and heating equipment.
The school facilities can accommodate individuals with certain physical disabilities. Individuals who require special assistance should contact the admissions office to determine whether the physical challenge would present an impediment to either job performance or job placement.
